Gunna Spends $300,000 On Bored Ape NFT

The Bored Ape NFTs have been one of the most trending NFTs as well. Future was one of the latest rappers to purchase one of these, as he spent over $200,000. Now, fellow Atlanta rapper Gunna is next.

Gunna Gets Tattoo Of His Bored Ape NFT

Gunna ended up revealing on his Instagram profile photo, that he actually got a tattoo of his Bored Ape. This design was inked on his leg,

He has also since been reposting content to his IG stories of fans spreading the word about this Bored Ape NFT, as well as the tattoo which honors the NFT. Gunna's frequent collaborator, Lil Baby, also recently came out about how he wants to gift fans NFTs for the holidays.

Gunna Had A Number One Album In 2021

In addition to Gunna winning big with his latest NFT purchase, he is still doing the same in his music career. Back in the summer, he and Young Thug released their "Slime Language 2" album, which also featured other artists from the Young Stoner Life record label that they're on. 

Slime Language 2 went on to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. This also marked Gunna's second straight number one album, as his "Wunna" project also reached this mark back in 2020.

Slime Language 2 contained 31 tracks in total, with star-studded appearances from Meek Mill, Drake, Travis Scott, DaBaby, Kid Cudi, Lil Baby, Coi Leray, Lil Uzi Vert, and more. 

Gunna Holds Christmas Giveaway For Families

Gunna is also giving back to his hometown of Atlanta, for the Christmas holiday. On December 23, he held his fourth annual "Gunna's Great Giveaway."

There, Gunna's Great Giveaway Foundation gave out gifts to 750 families. $150 gift cards were handed out and a "special gift" was also included from Gunna. 

Gunna has been massively popular in Atlanta over the last three years, as he's released several popular albums and mixtapes. This includes his "Drip Season" projects. He's also worked with other stars such as Playboi Carti, Lil Yachty, Lil Durk, and more.

Gunna Has Another Buzzing Single This Winter

Gunna's momentum hasn't slowed down at all over these last several months in his music either. In late November, he released a new single titled "Too Easy." This also featured Future and became an instant hit in Atlanta, as well as on social media. This month, Gunna went on to release the official remix for Too Easy, which featured Roddy Ricch as well.
