Ross May Take On Jay-Z In Verzuz

Many fans have been asking for Jay-Z to finally appear in a Verzuz battle. There is speculation that Rick Ross should be the one to face Jay, and this is something that he is very open to making happen.

In a new interview with The Real, the question of Jay-Z Verzuz was brought up. Ross labeled this matchup as a "possibility."

“That’s a possibility, but I gotta give my flowers to the big homie. I got to. My homie gave me my first opportunity, signing me to Def Jam Records, you know what I mean? And he’s one-of-one.”

On December 10, Ross also finally released his highly anticipated 11th studio album, "Richer Than I Ever Been." This project was led by the singles "Outlawz" featuring Jazmine Sullivan and 21 Savage, and "Little Havana," featuring Willie Falcon and The Dream.

12 tracks were available in total, as additional appearances included Benny The Butcher, Wiz Khalifa, Future, and more. This album is anticipated to crack the top 10, of the Billboard 200 chart.

Ross Has Released Two Albums In Two Years

The Miami mogul has been very consistent with his music releases, as Richer Than I Ever Been marks his second album, in two years. Back in August 2019, Ross put out "Port Of Miami 2," which served as the sequel to his classic 2006 debut album.

Port Of Miami 2 went on to debut at number two, on the Billboard 200. That album was headlined by tracks such as "Gold Roses" featuring Drake, and "Act A Fool" featuring Wale. Ross also collaborated with stars such as Summer Walker, Nipsey Hussle, Teyana Taylor, YFN Lucci, John Legend, and Lil Wayne on Port Of Miami 2.

Ross Invested In Telehealth Startup Company

At the start of 2021, Ross also made another power move, regarding business investments. This was him putting in $1 million, into JetDoc. According to Forbes, this platform is an "online health club offering virtual doctor visits for $20, or a $10 unlimited monthly members."

JetDoc was founded by Detroit healthcare entrepreneur Tommy Duncan. A huge benefit of being a JetDoc member is receiving 85% off retail prices, for prescription medication, at pharmacies.

"I gotta have a doctor right here at my fingertips,” said Ross. “If I’m feeling dizzy, short of breath, I might just need a word of their advice. Being a celeb, privacy is a huge thing. Instead of walking into a doctor’s office and ending up on TMZ . . . I could just get it over the phone.”
